Who We Are Founded in April 2012, Highlander Gaming is a social club at the University of California, Riverside whose aim is to promote and involve the campus and surrounding areas in esports and the gaming industry. Through Highlander Gaming, we hope to create a strong community that dedicates itself to a competitive spirit, while maintaining a strong sense of sportsmanship and social inclusion.

Highlander Gaming Week 8 Genkiyaki Cooldown
Highlander Gaming is hosting a Week 8 dinner social at Genkiyaki with the intention of giving our students one last hoorah before we dive straight into the ocean of stress that is finals! On top of the food available to purchase at the event, we also plan on hosting a Hearthstone Fireside Gathering! So bring your phones, tablets, or laptops so we can brave through trials of the League of E.V.I.L. together!

Highlander Con is a FREE gaming event that will be hosted ALL DAY on January 27th at the University of California Riverside's Highlander Union Building. This convention will showcase a large variety of tournaments, gaming organizations, and programs for you all to enjoy.

Fresh from Highlander Gaming! What’s a better way to take a break from studying and the storm of midterms than playing some video games? HLG presents the High-LAN-der!  Date: 11/10/18 Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM  Where: HUB 302 North This event is a Bring Your Own Computer event so if you want to play with your best buds make sure you bring along your laptop/desktop/whatever-top! We'll accomodate the power, all you need is to bring yourself and your device. Additionally, we'll be having Super Smash Bros. Melee setups running the entire time as well. Feel free to bring a controller too! We will also be hosting tournaments! The games you can compete in include League of Legends, CS:GO, and Overwatch! The format of these tournaments will be in 1v1s, 2v2s, and 3v3s respectively.
