Collegiate leaders can apply to be a part of our 2020 Varsity Invitational. This invitational will pit top Varsity teams from around the country against each other in a  round robin format. This Varsity-focused tournament will be separate from our other tournament offerings. If your school is working on spinning up a Varsity program for Call of Duty, be sure to apply by February 14th to be considered for the inaugural 2020 Varsity Invitational.

Call of Duty Collegiate Series: Varsity

After the application period, we'll be inviting the top Varsity programs to face off against each other during the regular round robin season, as outlined below. Once the round robin phase concludes, we'll also invite some of the top CCL teams to face off against the top Varsity teams in Tespa's first ever Call of Duty Collegiate Invitational.

We're huge fans of what the folks over at the CCL have been doing, and in order to provide the best experience to all of the Collegiate Call of Duty players, it was a no-brainer to include them in our Spring plans. Be sure to check out their regular season broadcasts to find your favorite teams to rally behind at their twitch page.

Disclaimer: All non-invitational Tespa Call of Duty tournaments throughout the year may be cross-play enabled, with all inputs as an option.

Game modes will mirror those outlined in the Call of Duty League official rules, with Search & Destroy, Hardpoint, and Domination making up the regular season's play. To ensure tournament integrity the Varsity series will be hosted on ALL PLATFORMS, but will be input-locked to the controller setting for the entirety of the Invitational.

Call of Duty Collegiate Series: Ladder

Alongside the Varsity Invitational, and the CCL's regular season, Tespa will be hosting a collegiate ladder on GameBattles. Here, any caliber of player can find pickup games on demand to get matched against players of similar skill. The ladder is open to all verified college students, and when it goes live in February, we'll have more details about the active dates and incentives.

Call of Duty Collegiate Series: Spring Duos

After the incredible response we saw this Fall, we plan to host more Duos tournaments this Spring. We'll have more info to share with you later, but know that there will be cross-platform & inputs fully unlocked, duos tournaments in 2020! Stay tuned to our social channels and we'll share the full details when we're ready.
